Interpretation equipment with or without an interpreter
Not every event needs to book interpreters together with the equipment. Production companies, other translation agencies, and organizers who already have their own interpretation team also rent technical equipment from STIB: ISO 4043 acoustically insulated booths, UHF receivers, transmitters, and a complete audio distribution system — with a dedicated technician or equipment only, as needed.

Compact booth-free system, suited to executive meetings and technical visits with small groups.

Redundancy included for critical items, reducing the risk of failure during the event.
LED headsets
One color per language, visible from across the room
For bilingual and trilingual events, STIB has headsets with an LED ring: each channel gets its own color. Attendees instantly know they are on the right language, and the technician can see channel distribution across the audience from a distance, without interrupting anyone.
- Four or more channels per headset — each with its own color; languages and content tracks can be separated at the same event.
- Used for interpretation and silent conferences — the same headset covers both formats — booth interpretation or parallel sessions in one hall.
- Visual control for the crew — the lit color shows, from a distance, how many attendees are on each channel.
- Sized to the audience — the number of headsets is part of the quote scope, like conventional receivers.

What determines the price of the rental
There's no fixed rate card — scope drives the price. With this information, STIB returns a fixed quote within 24 hours.

About equipment rental
Can I rent the equipment without booking STIB interpreters?
Yes. Equipment rental is a standalone service, independent of booking interpreters — we serve production companies, translation agencies, and organizers who already have their own interpretation team.
Is the technician included in the rental?
It depends on the option chosen. You can rent with a dedicated STIB technician operating on-site, or equipment only, for those with their own technical crew.
What's the difference between a full booth and a portable kit?
The ISO 4043 booth is acoustically isolated and suited to larger audiences and noisier environments. The portable kit (whisper/tour guide) has no booth, is more compact, and is suited to small groups in meetings or technical visits.
Do you deliver equipment outside São Paulo?
Yes. STIB serves with equipment and professionals on site in São Paulo, Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Recife and Campinas, and with in-house logistics in the other Brazilian capitals, depending on the event's scope.
Is there backup equipment in case of failure?
Yes, critical items include backup as part of the rental to reduce the risk of interruption during the event.
